Purpose of processing
We process your survey responses for product research, including to understand user needs, evaluate concepts, improve our product design and development, and prepare anonymised internal summaries of findings.

Legal basis
The legal basis for processing is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where your responses include health-related information, your explicit consent under Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR.

Voluntary participation
Participation is voluntary. You can stop completing the survey at any time. You can also withdraw your consent at any time with future effect by contacting privacy@contextml.com.

Storage period
Survey responses will be stored for up to 6 months and then deleted. If you choose to provide contact details in the separate follow-up form, those contact details will be stored separately and deleted after 6 months.

Recipients / processors
We use service providers to host and run the survey, including Google (Google Forms / Google Workspace).

International transfers
Use of these service providers may involve a transfer of personal data to the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), as incorporated into Google’s Cloud Data Processing Addendum. 

Your rights
You have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time with future effect.

Right to complain
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Berlin, this is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
